One of the major themes in Rita’s campaign is her ongoing effort to empower all communities in Kansas City work together. For more than 30 years, Rita has been involved in organizations throughout the metro area. Rita has a lot of experience in fostering cooperation! This is Rita’s first video. We intend this to be just a brief introduction for those few of you out there who haven’t met Rita throughout the years. We think it’s a good way to let you get to know her (if you don’t already). Our goal for these video blogs is not simply to shoot campaign commercials for the internet, but to assist KCMO voters to know what Rita’s really like and how she feels about a variety of issues that impact Kansas City.
